Frequently asked questions

How much am I involved in the process?

As much or as little as you wish. We have some clients that send us the demo and never set foot in the studio. Others like to be more hands-on. Whatever you choose, we know your project will exceed your expectations.

What forms of payment do you take?

We take cash, check, money order and PayPal.

How long does the process take?

We’re in the studio doing demos every week, so if your recording one or two songs, your project can finished fairly soon. Recording a CD is a complex process and can take weeks or months, depending on your schedule.

Do my songs still belong to me?

Absolutely. Your songs belong to you and are copyrighted from the moment it is created and put in tangible form. It’s still a good idea to place the copyright symbol © on your music (or lyrics), and at some point, you will want to register them to the copyright office. I’ve got a ProTools rig at home. Can’t I just do all this myself?

Most of us have project studios, as well. And they’re great for getting ideas down. Some of us do track creation and overdubs in our home studios. But when it comes to recording your song, you’ll appreciate not having to act as engineer and producer while at the same time trying to record a perfect vocal.

Do you record pop or other styles of music?

Just because Nashville is in our name doesn’t mean all we do is country. In fact, over the years, Nashville has become the center for many genres of music. Our people have worked on pop, rock, gospel, and R and B; we’ve even done a few TV scores with full symphony orchestra.
